Our foam helps trap carbon
Biochar, a key component of our foam, starts out as agricultural waste. Plants trap carbon through photosynthesis throughout their lives. Converting this waste into biochar fixes that carbon for up to centuries instead of being re-released as carbon dioxide or methane. In addition to sequestering carbon, biochar adds strength and other properties to our foam.
